About the Founder
Casandra found her brand in 2014. Casandra has since been studying the medicinal benefits of herbs. After she began a family of her own she saw the importance of knowing what is in the products she used for her family.
She decided to officially launch her business in October of 2025 because she sensed the need for affordable natural options for her community. The first collections were inspired by the needs of her children, and became family favorites in her own home.
“Any product you see on our shelves we have tested on ourselves first. My primary mission is to make quality luxurious skincare affordable,” says Casandra. "These products are designed to make a difference naturally."

October was a wild ride for us here at The Peony Apothecary! We started this venture with our first farmer's market in September of 2025, and through October we had our second farmer's market, and our first major vendor event. It was exhilarating!
Right after the Pumpkin Festival I had to do some traveling at my full time job, and catching up in the office. We also had Halloween where I hand painted a skeleton suit, made two hats, and sewed a dress for the kids costumes. Then we had a pop up farmer's market the first week of November!
There was product reordering and restocking of inventory after the Pumpkin Festival, and recovering from all the fun! We do have some updates for you:
1) Our candles received great feedback but it was mentioned they burn a little uneven with one cotton wic. We fixed this issue on our new drop that is now featuring two cotton wics for a more even burn.
2) We are now offering wax melts that are 100% beeswax for those of you that prefer flameless options for your spaces.
3) We have a new cream! Scar cream is now available for online purchase!
